Gummy Getaway Daily: How the Daily Puzzle, Streak and Challenges Work
Everything about the Gummy Getaway Daily: one untimed board for everyone, why your first finish counts, the streak and its grace day, sharing and challenging a friend.

Gummy Getaway has 30 levels to work through, but the board most players come back for is the Daily: one puzzle a day, the same for everyone. Here’s how it works, why only your first finish counts, and how to turn it into a streak.
If you’re new to the game, start with our Gummy Getaway first look.
One board a day, for everyone
The Daily is a single board, and everyone who plays on a given day gets the same one. It turns over at midnight US Pacific time, at the same moment worldwide, so when you compare results with a friend you’re always talking about the same puzzle.
Every Daily board has been solved by the game’s solver, so each one has a par: the move count to aim for.
No clock, ever
Most levels from level 4 on are timed. The Daily is not. There’s no clock on it at all, whether or not you play in Chill mode.
That’s deliberate. A daily streak should reward thinking, not quick fingers. Take as long as you like to study the doors before your first move.
Your first finish counts
You can play the Daily as often as you like, but only your first finish of the day counts. That first finish:
- Records your stars, your moves against par, and how many boosters you used.
- Pays coins: 20 for the win, plus 10 more for three stars.
- Drops a candy in your candy jar.
- Keeps your streak going.
After that, the Daily is practice. You’ll see “Solved again!”, and replays don’t pay coins or fill the jar. So it’s worth taking your time on the first run rather than rushing and replaying.
Stars on the Daily
Stars work the same as in the levels: finish at par for three stars, within one and a half times par for two, and any finish earns one. Fewer moves is always better, and moves are also your score when you challenge a friend.
Boosters are allowed
Stuck? You can use Hint, Pop and the other boosters on the Daily. Nothing stops you. Your share card simply says how many boosters you used, so a clean solve and a helped solve are both honest about what they were.
Freeze has nothing to do on the Daily, since there’s no clock to stop.
The Day streak
Finish the Daily and your Day streak grows: “Day 1 streak”, “Day 2 streak” and so on. This is separate from your wins-in-a-row count on the levels, so the two never get mixed up.
The streak forgives one missed day a week. Miss a single day and the streak survives, with the line “Streak saved. See you tomorrow.” Miss two days in a row, or a second day in the same week, and you start again: “New streak, day 1. Let’s go.”
Share your result
After the Daily you can share your result as a picture card and as text. Both are spoiler-free: they show the Daily’s number, your stars, your moves against par, the boosters you used and your streak, never the board itself. On a phone, the picture goes straight to your share sheet.
Challenge a friend
On HulaGames, the Daily win card has a Challenge a friend button. It sends a link that opens that exact Daily for your friend, with your moves as the target.
To beat a challenge, your friend has to finish in as many moves as you or fewer. A tie counts as a win, because “Beat 11 moves” reads as “11 or fewer”. When they finish, their win card tells them whether they beat you.
Tips for a clean Daily
- Read every door before you move. Note which gummies are already lined up with their doors, and which are trapped.
- Free the biggest blocker first. One gummy usually holds up several others.
- Use walls as brakes. A gummy slides until it hits something, so a wall is the easiest way to stop it exactly where you want.
- Don’t rush the first run. Only your first finish counts, and there’s no clock. A careful first solve beats a fast one.

Hula Points
On HulaGames, solving the Daily earns the biggest single Hula Points reward in Gummy Getaway, once a day. Level wins and every tenth level earn points too, and the daily quests sometimes ask you to solve the Gummy Getaway Daily. All of it counts toward the weekly leaderboards.

FAQ
Is the Gummy Getaway Daily timed?
No. The Daily never has a clock, so a streak never depends on how fast you are.
Can I replay the Daily?
Yes, but only your first finish of the day counts. Later finishes are practice: they don’t pay coins or fill the candy jar.
Can I use boosters on the Daily?
Yes. Boosters are allowed, and your share card says how many you used.
How do I beat a friend’s challenge?
Finish the same Daily in as many moves as your friend or fewer. A tie counts as a win.
