Hula Points are the rewards you earn for playing on HulaGames. Instead of every game keeping its own score in its own corner, your wins, quests and streaks all feed one balance. That’s the idea behind our hero line: free games, one set of points.

This guide explains exactly how Hula Points work: how you earn them, what they’re for, the limits we put on them, and the things they will never be. If you just want the headline, it’s this: Hula Points are free, earned by playing, spent on your profile, and never sold or cashed out.

What are Hula Points?

Hula Points (HP for short) are a single points balance shared by every game on HulaGames. Win a Tiki Tiles level, close a deal in CRE Tycoon or beat a Guardian in Jungle Duel, and the reward lands in the same place.

You can see your balance in the points chip at the top of the site once you’ve started earning, and on your profile page. Your profile also tracks your lifetime points (everything you’ve ever earned) alongside what you have to spend right now.

They’re designed around one simple feeling: everything you play on HulaGames counts.

How you earn Hula Points

There are several ways to earn, and most of them happen without you thinking about it.

Playing games

Games award points at moments that already exist inside them: clearing a level, winning a match, beating a boss, finishing a run or completing a daily challenge. For example, Tiki Tiles rewards Journey levels you win and games you finish, Jungle Duel rewards won levels and Guardians beaten, and CRE Tycoon rewards deals closed, buildings bought and years completed.

The first time you do something rewardable in a game you haven’t played before, you also get a one-time bonus for trying it.

Daily login and streaks

Come back once a day and you get a small login reward. Do it on consecutive days and you build a streak, with bigger bonuses at milestone days. Miss a day and the streak starts again from one.

Daily quests

Every day you get three quests, usually spread across different games. Finish one and its reward is added automatically. Finish all three and you get a bonus on top. Our daily quests guide covers how to keep that habit going.

Badges

Badges mark achievements, both across the network and inside individual games. Network badges include things like your first reward anywhere, playing every live game, 7- and 30-day streaks, finishing 10 quests and reaching lifetime points milestones. Game badges include beating a Guardian in Jungle Duel and finishing ten years in CRE Tycoon.

Inviting a friend

You can share your invite link. When a friend joins and plays their first game, you both get a reward. There’s a limit on how many referrals pay out, and you can’t refer yourself.

Hula Points at a glance

Here are the main rewards as the system is set up today. We may tune values over time, and the site always shows current rewards on your quests page.

Way to earn Reward
First visit to HulaGames +100 HP, once
First play in a new game +50 HP, once per game
Daily login +20 HP, once a day
Streak bonus +50 on day 3, +150 on day 7, +500 on day 30
Each daily quest +75 HP (+125 HP for the harder ones)
All three daily quests +100 HP bonus

The day runs on Los Angeles time, so your daily login, quests and caps all reset at midnight Pacific.

Limits that keep things fair

Points only mean something if everyone earns them the same way. So a few rules sit underneath the fun.

  • Points are awarded by our server, not your browser. A game reports what happened, and our server decides what it’s worth. Nobody can type a number into their browser and mint points.
  • Daily caps. Each type of reward has its own daily limit, and there’s an overall cap of 1,000 HP per player per day across the network.
  • Speed limits. Unusually rapid-fire events stop paying out, which keeps scripts from farming points.

Because of the caps, there’s no reason to grind for hours. A steady habit of playing a little each day, finishing your quests and keeping your streak will out-earn a single marathon session.

What you can spend Hula Points on

Hula Points are spent on HulaGames itself, mostly to show off on your profile.

  • Avatars: one is free, and more are in the shop.
  • Frames: decorative rings around your avatar.
  • Name changes: your first change of display name is free; after that, it costs points.

Nothing bought with Hula Points changes how any game plays. A frame won’t make your Jungle Duel animals stronger or your Tiki Tiles blocks fit better. Each game’s own economy, like your cash in CRE Tycoon or the shells in Tiki Tiles, stays exactly as it was designed, and none of it converts to or from Hula Points.

What Hula Points will never be

We want to be completely clear on this.

  1. Never bought. There’s no way to pay real money for Hula Points.
  2. Never cash. You can’t cash them out, sell them or trade them for anything outside HulaGames.
  3. Never pay-to-win. They don’t buy power in any game.

They’re a scoreboard and a cosmetic currency, made to reward you for playing. That’s all.

Leaderboards: where your points show up

Every point you earn in a week also counts toward the weekly leaderboard. There’s a network-wide board ranking players by points earned that week, plus a board for each game. Only display names and avatars are shown publicly. Check the weekly leaderboards to see where you stand.

Guest or saved account?

You never need an account to play or to earn. The first time you do something rewardable, we quietly create a guest profile on that device, and your points start adding up right away.

A free saved account, using an email sign-in link, does two things a guest profile can’t. It lets you sign in on any device and see the same balance, and it protects your points. Guest profiles with no activity for 90 days are cleared, so if you care about your streak and badges, save your progress from your profile page.

Start earning

The easiest way to understand Hula Points is to earn a few. Open any game, finish a round, and check your balance. Then look at today’s quests and see which one you can knock out next.
