Corner Boss is an idle tycoon game set on one neon city block, drawn in 3D. You start with a Bootleg Stall, work up through a row of front businesses to a Back-Room Casino, wash your Dirty cash into Clean cash and try to keep the Heat off. It’s coming soon to HulaGames, and it isn’t playable yet.

We don’t have a launch date to share. What we can share is how the game works, so you know what to expect when it lands. The Corner Boss game is still in development, so details may change before launch.

What is the Corner Boss game?

Corner Boss is our take on the idle tycoon: a game where your businesses keep earning and your job is to make smart upgrades, not to tap all day. Everything happens on a single city block, which keeps the whole empire on one screen.

It’s being built for phone browsers first and works on desktop browsers too. Controls are simple: you tap fronts, labels and buttons.

How Corner Boss plays

Seven fronts to build

Your empire is a set of front businesses. You start with a Bootleg Stall and work up through seven fronts to a Back-Room Casino. Each front gets faster as you own more of it, so buying more of what you already have is a real choice, not just filler.

Dirty cash and Clean cash

Here’s the twist that makes Corner Boss different from a standard idle game. Your fronts earn Dirty cash, but only Clean cash buys anything.

That’s where the Laundromat comes in. It washes Dirty cash into Clean every 10 seconds. Bigger machines wash more for a smaller fee, so upgrading the Laundromat is one of the key decisions on the block.

Key takeaway: in Corner Boss, earning money and being able to spend it are two different problems, and you have to solve both.

Watch the Heat

Holding a lot of Dirty cash is risky. Hold too much and your Heat rises. When Heat reaches 100, the cops raid and shut down one of your fronts for a while.

You can push that limit. A lawyer lets you hold more Dirty cash before the Heat becomes a problem. Balancing how fast you earn against how fast you wash is the core tension of the game.

Earning while you’re away

Like the best idle games, Corner Boss rewards you for coming back. Hire managers and your fronts run on their own, even while you’re away.

The Night Crew upgrade makes that away-time earning last longer. So the more you invest in managers and upgrades, the more your block can do without you.

There’s also a daily stash: come back each day for a free stash of Clean cash.

Skip Town and start again richer

Every idle tycoon needs a reason to start over, and in Corner Boss that’s Skip Town. When your block is big enough, you can leave it behind and start fresh.

You don’t leave empty-handed. Skipping town earns Rep, and Rep boosts your Dirty income on every run after. So each new run earns Dirty cash faster than the one before. If that loop is new to you, our guide to idle tycoon games explains how prestige-style resets work across the genre.
