About this game
Gin Rummy is the classic two-player card game. Draw, discard and arrange your ten cards into sets and runs, and keep your loose cards low.
Pick your opponent on Home: Roo (Casual) for your first games, Mabel (Sharp), or Vic (Shark) when you want a real fight. Each one sees only what a player at the table could see, and never changes difficulty by itself.
Gin Rush is one hand against Mabel in 90 seconds, with a clock round the stock. Today's Daily is one deal that everyone plays, and every deal has a number you can replay.

How to play Gin Rummy
- Draw the top card of the stock or the discard pile, then discard one card.
- Build melds: sets of 3 or 4 of a rank, or runs of 3 or more in one suit. Loose cards are deadwood.
- Knock with 10 or less deadwood to end the hand, or go gin with every card in a meld. First to 100 wins the match.

When can I knock?
When your deadwood is 10 or less, on any turn but your first. Your opponent then lays off loose cards on your melds. If they tie or beat you, that's an undercut, and they score the difference plus 25.
What is gin?
Every card in your hand in a meld. Gin scores your opponent's deadwood plus 25, and big gin, all 11 cards after the draw, scores plus 31.
Is the computer fair?
Yes. It plays from one shuffled deck under the same rules as you, sees only what a player at the table could see, and its tier never changes by itself. Every discard stays on show.
Is there a daily game?
Yes. Today's Daily is one hand against Mabel with the same deal for everyone, and it resets at midnight Pacific.
Are there ads or anything to buy?
No. There are no ads before or during play, and nothing to buy.
Do I need an account?
No. Press Play and start. Your progress saves in your browser, and follows your HulaGames account if you sign in.
