How the Paws & Plots Dailies work: Easy, Medium and Hard each day, the streak and its grace day, Perfect Days, gold flames, spoiler-free sharing and Hula Points.
Paws & Plots is built around its Dailies. Every day brings three fresh puzzles, the same for everyone, and a streak that rewards you for coming back. This guide covers how the Dailies work, what Perfect Days and gold flames mean, and how to keep a streak alive.

Three Dailies a day
Each day has three Daily puzzles:

All three are the same for everyone, and they turn over at midnight US Pacific time, at the same moment worldwide. Each day also has a number, so “Daily #4” means the same three puzzles for everyone who played it. The home screen shows the countdown to the next set.
Every puzzle has exactly one answer, and you can always reach it by logic alone. You never have to guess, even on Hard.
Keeping your streak
Solve any one of the day’s Dailies and your streak goes up by a day. You don’t need all three, and you don’t need to avoid hints. If you only have two minutes, the Easy Daily keeps the streak going.
The streak also forgives one missed day a week. If you skip a single day, your streak is saved, and the win card on your next Daily says “Streak saved. See you tomorrow.” A missed day isn’t counted as played; it’s just forgiven. Two missed days in a row, or a second miss within the same week, starts a new streak: “New streak, day 1. Let’s go.”
One more detail: if you start a Daily before midnight and finish it after, it still counts for the day you started. The clock rolling over never takes a day away from you.
Hints, Check and the Daily
Hints are free and unlimited, and they never end your streak. They come in steps: the first press points you to the right area, pressing again tells you more, and the last step gives the answer. Starting a new hint counts as one hint, however many steps you look at.
Check tells you which of your cats break a rule, without placing or removing anything. Each Check counts as a hint too, unless there’s nothing on the board to check yet.
Hints matter for two things: Perfect Days and gold flames.
Perfect Days
Solve all three Dailies with no hints and you’ve had a Perfect Day. The win screen says so, and so does your share.
If you solve all three but used hints along the way, you’ll see All three solved! instead. That’s still a great day; it’s just not a perfect one.
Gold flames
Your streak flame turns gold on any day where at least one Daily was solved with no hints. It’s a quieter goal than a Perfect Day: solve the Easy Daily cleanly and the flame is gold, even if you needed help on Hard.
Gold flames are a nice middle step. A Perfect Day every day is a lot to ask, but a clean Easy solve is a habit almost anyone can build.
Sharing without spoilers
After a Daily you can share your result. The share never shows where your cats went. Instead it uses colored squares: 🟩 for a Daily solved with no hints, 🟨 for one solved with hints, and ⬜ for one you haven’t played. It also includes your time and the day’s number, so friends can compare without seeing the answer.
Hula Points for the Dailies
On HulaGames, Paws & Plots earns Hula Points for:

- A Perfect Day.
- Keeping your streak.
- Finishing the tutorial, once.
The daily quests sometimes ask you to solve Paws & Plots Dailies, and every point counts toward the weekly leaderboards.
A daily routine that works
- Start with Easy. It keeps your streak safe in a few minutes, and a clean solve turns the flame gold.
- Do Medium next. It warms you up for the 11x11 board.
- Take your time on Hard. There’s no rush. The puzzle doesn’t change all day, and a slow, hint-free solve beats a fast one with help if you’re chasing a Perfect Day.
- Use a hint before you guess. A guess can cost you minutes. If you’re stuck, the first hint step only points to an area, which is often all you need.
